from a 425 phone number, Wednesday, January 12, 6:21 PM EST

As you probably know, my real job, when I'm not receiving text messages from strangers, is writing books for teenagers. I spend a lot of time fussing over word choice and whatnot. But then sometimes I receive a text message like this one. And I think to myself, just, "Why do I even bother?"

    In this person's defense, it might be intentional. My friend and I trade emails with that kind of grammar all the time, because it's sort of an inside joke / routine for us.

    Although given the general direction of grammar and spelling skills these days, your interpretation is probably correct. :-)
