Shut the tv. Idont want my electric to go up. Mom

I hate to tell you this, mom, but this is usually not a terribly persuasive argument when approaching your five year old. You may want to just tell him to shut off the TV because it will rot his mind or because he's grounded or something.

OMG, exactly like my mom. She can't be bothered to go to my room to talk to me, so she would text mewho was few steps away.

Or is this the case where an adult living away from home and yet mom still pays his bill?

not necessarily asian, i knew some folks in college who would say "shut the light" to mean turn it off. seemed to be a southern dialect thing...
