What is your fav song?
from a 952 phone number, Sunday, March 22, 5:21 PM
This is the hardest question in the world. Answering any math question is easier than answering this. Does 952 really expect Leila to have one answer here? Does 952 really have an answer? Does anyone with any taste in music actually have one favorite song?
This is the answer I'll give. I can think of dozens, if not hundreds of songs I love desperately. This is just one of them. TURN UP THE VOLUME BEFORE LISTENING.
Your turn, readers. I am kind of interested to know what some of your favorite songs are. But if you claim to have only ONE favorite song... then I am suspicious of you.

I was really kind of hoping to be Rick-rolled on that one...
I like Paul Simon's The Obvious Child but the youtube video is lame.
The Obvious Child is a fabulous song, but not even my fav Paul Simon song, let alone my fav song ever.
Re: Rick-rolling: I was telling two of my friends about it back in December, and they didn't believe that it existed. I'm serious. They were like, "You must have made this up. Or maybe it is one of those crazy 'New York' things." They also had never heard of LOLcats. Love these girls, but really.
Um, did you know that there's now a BARACK ROLL?!?!

Well it is not my fav song ever, but probably my favorite paul simon song. Something about coming to grips with being a geezer is appealing I suppose. At least my hair is not thinning at 26. Oh yeah and being a woman probably helps too.
Am slightly embarrassed to say that I have been hooked on JT's "All Over Again." Embarrassed, because it makes me swoon, & because I'm old enough to be his mother and/or remember him on Mickey Mouse Club.
"Painting by Chagall" (the weepies), "tables and chairs" (andrew bird), "mermaid" (regina spektor), "amazing grace", "battle hymn of the republic" (esp mormon tabernacle choir version), "start wearing purple" (gogol bordello), "little boxes" by everyone who ever did it for weeds, "new soul" (yael naim), "trolleywood" (eisley), "colorful" (rocco deluca and the burden), "bridges and balloons" (joanna newsom version and decemberists version, both) ....
