Merci, han hoet au tanze, hoffe blamiere mi ned… ond du hesch aues parat foerd schuel?

I am stymied. This isn't French, other than the "merci." A few words in here are German, but not that many. None of it is Portuguese. What IS this?

In case you ever wondered what it means to be the recipient of the Leila Texts, it basically means that I spend a lot of my life on Babelfish.

It could be Flemish.

or perhaps dutch. maybe even danish. i think you are missing some diacritical marks.

I think diacritical marks are one of many things that I am missing.

Looks like some kind of Moselle Franconian dialect. 'Merci' means 'thank you' in Luxembourgish for example. So the text could mean something along the lines of "thank you, i also danced today, I hope you won't blame me... and you have you prepared for school?"

I'm pretty sure it's Swiss German. They use "merci" too.

It means something like "I also have dancing today, I hope I'm not going to embarrass myself... and you have [something] ready for the school?"
