Can't find a Matt Huchmalas on facebook, though I did find some very interesting other Matts with similar last names. Why does every stranger on facebook look like such a tool?

Because two or three years after WE joined facebook, it became open to everyone.

Plus I'm sure a lot of the people you DO know look like tools on facebook. I know many of them myself, after all.
