hi mom what r u doing
from a 303 phone number, Thursday, July 24, 9:28 PM

Updating my blog. Oh wait, sorry, I'm not your mom.

Here's a question for you all: Do you have your mom listed in your phone's address book under her first name (as 303 apparently does) or under "M" for "Mom"? Mine is under "M": frankly, I assumed everyone's was.

Maybe you are missing some commas. Hi, Mom, how are you doing? I know my Mom thinks she needs to identify herself in messages.

mine is under as "mother ship". reminds me of a big alien monster thing sitting in the mother ship, reciting poetry about a small piece of green putty it found under it's armpit one summer's morning.

Mom, definitely. But this text seems kind of sarcastic. Like, when you're in a beginning writing class and starting on dialogue, it's a main point that realistically, characters don't mention the other character's name in regular dialogue that often. That mixed with the fact that this person has the name saved as Leila and not mom... I would guess Leila is either a) not his/her mom or b) person A is upset enough to use sarcastic speech with his/her mom.

But what do I know?

I always categorize my Mom as "Mom". What if you lose your cell phone, and the kind citizen who finds it can't reach you at "home" or "work"? The next step will always be "Mom".

Mine is under ICEmom [name]. I've gone to the hospital too many times in the past few years to not put her as my In Case of Emergency contact for paramedics to easily find her. :\

my mother dosent use her cell phone, so she's not in my phone, but if she were to be it would be under mother.

ps. your posts are funny.

Oh, my mum is listed as her first name and her last name. Is that bad?

My mum is listed as "the parents". I see now, given the emergency/lost cellphone posts above, that this is not optimal.
