God, it's just impossible to throw a good New Year's party these days, isn't it? Either you don't have enough mixers for the vodka, or someone ashes a cigarette in your plant, or you run out of paper towels with which to wipe up your friends' vomit, or there's no tobacco for the hookah! Might as well give up and just watch the ball drop on TV.
